About the Board
Every second and fourth Thursday at 6:00 pm, the City of Marshfield holds Board of Aldermen meetings. On those nights, the four aldermen convene to discuss city business.

Aldermen are divided into two members from the East Ward and two members from the West Ward, with the Mayor presiding. Wards are divided by Marshall Street, with those residing East of Marshall Street elected to the East Wards, and those residing West of Marshall Street elected to the West Wards. Qualified voters of the City of Marshfield elect one member of each ward annually for a term of two years. The Mayor is elected in even-numbered years for two year terms.
